A stunning M3 CS SMG – one of only 233 M3 CS RHD cars supplied for the UK market – in beautiful Interlagos blue metallic with immaculate black leather trim. This rare and desirable M3 CS is in excellent mechanical and physical condition, and has been known to Munich Legends for some time. The CS-only Interlagos blue coachwork is understandably the most desirable colour for a CS and shows the lines of the E46 M3 off perfectly.
The M3 CS is seen by many as the closest alternative to an M3 CSL, and with a faster steering rack, beefed up brakes, lightweight CSL style alloys, as well as a dedicated track mode available at the flick of a switch, the CS is certainly a wolf in wolf’s clothing. Owners of the CS model who have owned or experienced the standard car all agree the CS is significantly more nimble, responsive and greatly prefer the overall drive. Being the last of the production E46 M3s, the CS also comes with an alcantara trimmed steering wheel, special individual paint, brushed aluminium individual interior trim and was produced in very low numbers – only 233 were supplied in total in RHD for the UK market, making it rarer than the M3 CSL.
This particular car has an impeccable service history, and has clearly been very well cared for all its life. The odometer shows 54,000 miles, but the overall condition looks more like 25,000. The paintwork is deep and has a fabulous depth of shine, the engine bay is immaculate, and the interior shows very little sign of wear, with even the driver’s bolsters in super condition.
