Equipped with BMW Motorsport’s world-beating M88 multivalve straight six powerplant originally designed for the phenomenal M1 supercar, the M6 was one of the fastest sports coupes ever produced, beating rivals from Ferrari, Aston, Mercedes and Jaguar. With high levels of equipment, fantastic handling and poise, as well as room for four adults and their luggage, the M6 became one of the first of the early BMW M cars to establish itself firmly in the imagination of car lovers throughout the world. It did, however, come at a price; the M635 was one of the most expensive production BMWs money could buy.
Today, with the original production run of 524 (of which a mere 102 were highline versions) reduced to a reported 120 still on UK roads; the appeal of the M6 is still as strong as ever. Munich Legends have known this beautiful highline M6 for much of its life, having found the car for its current owner in 2004.
